I have just started reading the third book (Eclipse) of the Stephenie Meyer series. My Grandma Bronec and Dana Widing both recommended them to me and I read the first and was in love and than read the second and fell head over heals and have started reading the third and Jer says i have become obsessed (which is true). They are coming out with a movie for the first book
"Twilight" The following is off Stephenie Meyers website. November 16, 2007 — Summit Entertainment announced today that Kristen Stewart will star as "Bella Swan" in the production of the feature film TWILIGHT, the thriller-romance based on Stephenie Meyer's publishing phenomenon. The film, which begins production February 2008, will be directed by Catherine Hardwicke, with Melissa Rosenberg (STEP UP) having adapted the script. Karen Rosenfelt (DEVIL WEARS PRADA) and Greg Mooradian will produce along with Mark Morgan via his Maverick Films banner. It sounds like it will be amazing and I am so excited!! The following is a link to Stephenie Meyers' website: http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/
If you have not read these books go buy them they are worth it! For those of you who have lets go see the movie together when it comes out (I will probably be one of the only people over 15 in the theater but I will love it none-the-less).

Remember Me
This is me...Do you remember me? I am a just a wall you might say, but I am the pride of a father, a father who loves his children. I show achievements, awards, recognitions, heroes, and above all hard work. The things that occupy my surface are not made of gold (technically speaking), the things I hold are Priceless. I am retiring this week and will miss being a fathers joy and pride. I will miss showing others the blood sweat and tears, hard work that has earned each medal, ribbon, or award. But most of all I will miss the father who spent hours supporting his children and proudly hanging their achievements on me. So farewell and thank you.

Making friends!!
Kohen has started noticing other babies much more now. At church today I put him on his blanket on the ground to play (during relief society), there was a baby 2 months older than Kohen in the row ahead who was crawling. OH MY GOSH that looked like so much fun Kohen tried and tried and tried to move his little feet and arms but they weren't listening to him, so his new little friend came over and joined him! The picture above was taken last week at church she is a darling little girl in our ward and she is two weeks younger than Kohen. I love watching babies grow the different stages are so amazing! Since it is a week to share what we are thankful for I want to say THANK YOU to Kohen for making Jeremiah and My life better than we could ever have imagined...I'm so grateful to be his mommy and so lucky to have such great husband!!Posted by Barkley's at 8:30 PM 2 comments

Halloween at the barkley's
Since Kohen is only 4 months old we couldn't justify taking him Trick or Treating... it would have been a little too obvious that the candy was for us. So instead we took Yoda to Grandma Barkley's for a visit.
This is Yoda on Mama's Lap, most of you probably didn't know but Yoda is a Mama's Boy!
Jer & I were going to dress up, but I had a client until about 6:30 so it seemed silly to dress up
He looked so cute in his costume..Every time he turned his head the ears would turn with him! Jer said that Kohen is about the size that Yoda "really" is.
His costume was kinda big on him, so I'm thinking that next year we might have round two of Yoda...but than again Ill probably find something else.

This is Yoda after a filling meal!
