Halloween is on its way!

I think you all know that my family has a tradition of murder mysteries each halloween. We all take turns writting and hosting them. I had the BRILLIANT idea of sharing a few them with you all. Follow the link on the "things we do" section of my blog to "Murder Mysteries" I am going to post 1 act a week untill halloween. And then each month I will try to add a mystery. Hope you enjoy them as much as we have.

Football, Troublemakers, and Homemade gifts.

It has been so great to see Jeff play football. Jer and I have missed it and now his senior year we get to see him play and have a really great season. This is the football game 3 weeks ago against Regis...They WON! Regis is Kennedy's long time rival.
8 to 51!! Great game. I personally like close games that keep me on my toes till the end. BUT it felt good to CRUSH Regis. An interesting fact Kennedy beat Regis Jason's senior year, my senior year and now Jeff's.

Kohen LOVES his uncle Jeffy! He follows him around and does everything Uncle Jeff does. If Uncle Jeffy has a glass of milk Kohen needs a glass of milk. If Uncle Jeffy goes to take a nap, Kohen needs a nap. It makes me so happy to see he loves his Uncle.

Little boys are another word for TROUBLE! Ive met some little girls that are mischievous, but I think my boy's have some stories for the record books! After changing Jonas it is nearly impossible to get him dressed he LOVES to be naked. And Kohen (SIGH) last Friday while being watched at a friends he had 2 minutes alone to find a sharpie and write on their furniture and ALL over there walls! I spent two hours shampooing their couch and Ottoman. Scrubbing the walls and priming them. We now have to buy paint for their living room. Some people think it is cute when their kids do things like this...Let it be known to the WORLD I DO NOT think it is cute it is so embarrassing when my children do things like this.

We had Super Saturday this weekend and I was able to work on a few of my Christmas presents. I love homemade gifts. They are so meaningful. O wish I could show you all the fund craft I did, but there are those of you who read my blog who will be receiving some of the fruits of my labor. One of the classes was a pie making class. We made a delicious apple pie (above) isn't it beautiful! (No worries I'm not saving the pie for Christmas lol) IT was just a fun class since I am not real super comfortable with pie making. I have made two more apple pies since Saturday :)

Mullets

I love what I do. I have learned and added extensions to my services...After I got all my hair I decided to practice on dad and Jer. I gave them both Mullets. It was so fun to do and they both looked SO gross. Jer is going to wear them for Halloween.

Cookie Monster

Jer and Kohen made cookies together saturday night. Kohen loved to stir and throw in the chocolate chips. When they came out of the oven Kohen was so happy to share the cookies with everyone. He is getting so big, his vocabulary is so amazing and he is working on getting the potty stuff down :)

All I rEallY neEd is LoVe...bUt a liTTle cHocolate Now and theN doesnt hUrt. Lucy Van Pelt (from peanuts)

My Mother is a Snob. A Chocolate snob and so it is her fault that I am as well. The occasional Hershey's bar will hold me over until my next See's or Moonstruck chocolate fix. Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White, its all the same sinful treat I crave each month. I used to go into down town Salem to get my See's BUT I recently found and fell in love with a Chocolate store here in Silverton. The Chocolate Box, on north Water st. right next to the theater. They are a little spendy, but they have MOONSTRUCK chocolates and they have introduced me to a new line of chocolates tat are wonderful! Ladybug Chocolates. They have a Dark chocolate Carmel topped with sea salt..OH YUM! Anyway they are introducing a new dessert line. Tiramasu, Cheesecake, Mousse, Cakes, Tarts... Anyway the reason for this blog is because I was talking to a friend about our local Chocolate store and she did not even know it existed...So there you go my fellow Chocolate loving snobs :) It is a great shop to feed the habit.
