Busy, Busy, Busy Barkley's

Kohen is officially in Nursery. Yay!! Sunday was his first day in nursery and this was him on the way home from church after playing with all the kids :) Its also after a cupcake that his friend Sister Blakley gave him. I love it when they are tired...it makes for great pictures!
Kohen helping Aunt Lori and Mommy cook. He was so helpful. I have been doing once a month cooking and it has worked out GREAT! If you aren't sure what once a month cooking is...call we'll chat!

Jonas Weighs 12.7 and is doing great. He is cooing like its going outta style and loves to snuggle. Last night was the heaven cause HE SLEPT for 7 hours!!!!!!!!!!
I also have finally got him to laugh and smile...but not very much he is much
more mellow than Kohen was, but its just who he is.
Kohen loves to go visit Great Grandma Bronec.
Cause she lets him play in her back yard for HOURS!

There is so much to do in G. Grandma's back yard.
Count Rocks, look at birds, run and run and run!

G. Grandma actually got Kohen counting, he can count to 2 now.
Thank you for being such a wonderful Grandma...Grandma :)
I was folding laundry and Kohen was sitting next to me watching Aladdin. He looked at me and said "Bubba?" I said "Bubba is sleeping" he said "No, Bubba here" (pointing to the couch) So I brought Jonas out to sit on the couch with us and Kohen started to grab at him so I put Jonas on Kohens lap...sure enough that's what Kohen wanted, to snuggle with his little brother.
It is moments like this that make my heart melt. And Kohen didn't even care that Jonas spit up on him :) What wonderful friends and partners in crime they will be.

I love this picture!
Well that's it for now, we have been super bust getting ready for our Murder Mystery on Halloween so our next update will not be for awhile. Cant wait to see what everyone else is for Halloween!!

A birthday not forgotten..just belated!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNA!!
I did not remember my sister-in-law Danna's birthday (on Friday the 17th) but Saturday morning I remembered so instead of calling and saying happy birthday late, I thought I would give her a belated happy birthday and tell the blogging world how wonderful she is.
Being the only girl in my family I always felt sad that I didn't have a sister to play with...but now I have 4 sisters :) I love them all and have special relationships with them.
Danna is a great friend and I am blessed to be her sister! We have great times. She is the voice at the other end of the phone when I need to complain, the one who makes me laugh till it hurts, and the one who is there whenever she is needed. Her Christlike ability to give to others is an example to me.
I love you Danna, I hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!!

Soap Box

If you get offended by politics or are tired of hearing about the upcoming election....

do NOT read on...
I never followed politics or even cared to until Jer and I got married. He is very up to date on politics and what is going on in the world, so naturally being married to him I became very up to date. We were able to watch the last presidential candit debate tonight on TV. I must say, that I am not particularly excited about either canadate. BUT for my own personal beliefs and standards, Jeremiah and I have chosen to vote for Senator McCain. I have been very impressed by Sarah Palin and look forward to the things she could do as a VP.
The reason I blog my opinions on this matter is for one simple reason. I worry about the world today. Obama seems to be a very charismatic and nice man...but his views are nothing short of SOCIALISM. (For definition of Socialism or Socialists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialism)
During the debate Obama was asked about the raising cost of Insurance...I wish I could quote word for word but in short and remember I'm paraphrasing...Senator Obama believes that everyone deserves health care through their employer (great concept..but) if they do not or cannot provide it, the company is then penalized and FORCED to provide a health care plan that the government will CHOOSE for Americans. Senator McCain, he agrees that everyone does deserve health care, but in his "plan" Americans are given credit to CHOOSE insurance plans that are right for their families.
It is my firm belief that Obama is trying to destroy the agency of man...to take away the privilege of being an American. Sound familiar? For a similar debate turn to Abraham chapter 4.
He seems to be a nice man...but NOT right for presidency. It would be a scary day in our country if a Socialist takes the white house.

What happen to fall??

It is so ridiculously cold outside!! What happen to fall? My tomato's never had time to turn red.
Everyday, when Jer gets home Kohen runs up to him and says "outside?" Which means that he wants his daddy to take him out to look at the pumpkins in our garden. :) Kohen LOVES pumpkins....He calls them "mumkins" I love that his vocabulary is taking off.Unfortunately sometimes he forgets they are "mumkins" and calls them balls.
A few of our pumpkins never turned orange they stayed green (much like my sad sad tomato's)
We got 14 pumpkins from our garden. I planted one seed
and got a pumpkin patch of my very own
Jonas is getting so big. He is definitely a mama's boy, he thinks he needs to be held all the time...and like Kohen I just cant help but hold him every minute I can.
I love his noises and I love his sweet smiles. He weighs 10 lbs 1 oz now :)
He is a great eater..but still has his nights and days mixed up
LOL Kohen trying to whistle :)
I started laughing at him and he said "hey!"
Have I ever mentioned how much I love these little men!!

Being the mother of two has been a lot of work, but I get to spend all my time with the two most wonderful little men. My day is filled with kisses and snuggles, what more could i ask for...well some sleep would be nice actually lol

Proud to be your aunt

Tonight my niece Stephanie taught the young women in my ward how to Polynesian (Hula) dance. It was marvelous!! I wanted to share with the blogging world how proud I was of her. She took charge, was confident, and a very VERY excellent teacher. I loved learning how to Hula Stephi and I'm so proud of the woman I saw in you tonight. Love you!!
