Jeremiah

I love my husband and I feel like I don't give him enough credit for all he does for Kohen and I... Jer drives an hour to and from work each day. Wakes up at 5 AM to beat traffic and still has the energy to come home and play with Kohen and I. Our two year anniversary is in two weeks (the 18th) and other than having Kohen it just doesn't seem like it should be two years already every day is so fun with Jer. He makes me laugh, I love waking up with him everyday and lol nights are fun to: Just last night he was dreaming and started to kick his feet (he tends to do this when he has dreams about Tae Kwon Do...he's only kicked me once in his sleep :)

In short I just wanted to share how blessed i am to have Jer as my eternal companion and how wonderful and special he makes me feel. I love you Jer and I'm so proud of you!

A little Raw

Any ones emotions are probably a little raw at 4:30 AM, but that is when my little man decided he wanted to be awake today. Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed :) Anyway I decided to check my email since it has been a few days...well a little surprise awaited me, an email from the last person on this earth whom I expected! I wont tell you what the email said nor will I give the persons name merely that this person and I had a bit of a falling out not to long ago and it seems as though this email was sent to remind me of the anger this person feels towards me...And it hurt.

I don't know why I'm sharing this in a post maybe because I feel bad waking up Jer at 4:30 over a situation that is so silly.

Its kind of coincidental that I got this email this morning as Jer and I were talking about forgiveness last night...Its wonderful the blessings that come from the Atonement if we would only accept its principles and let go of our pride. I'm not trying to sound boastful, but I have made my apology to this person and that's why this email came as such a shock! It is kinda like the wound was just starting to heal and someone picked the scab off again! Ive decided that you cant win em' all I guess.

My Grandma

Tonight for Family Home Evening we went to my Grandma's house. I love going to my grandmas...Cause I love my grandma!! From the moment I walk in I feel loved, she wants to hear every detail of Kohens doings and how Jer and I are. She always makes the BEST food!
If I had to describe my grandma in one word it would be..Classy! She is just a classy lady, she always has a project or two or three, is very involved in her community and church, she is a proud member of two book clubs and works very hard on Thursday nights with her Activity day girls. She is always, always, always doing for others..I love her!

Busy Busy Weekend!

Well it was a wonderfully busy weekend at our house.... I wrote a lot I know and some of it is more interesting than others but I wanted to share :)

FRIDAY:A DATE NIGHT AT HOME
I love Fridays because Jer gets off at 12:30 so he is usually home by 1:30. He got home as usual I was excited for Friday because there was a ward activity that night that Jer seemed excited about..it was called Family Flag. In the end we decided to have a night at home,we went to rent a few movies and ended up buy Mrs. Doubtfire (so funny). We had a really good dinner and a Oreo Cream pie:) Our date night at home.

SATURDAY: FRIENDS AND SCREW DRIVERS
Saturday was SO pretty and sunny, but we had decided to get some "to do's" done. Jer was GREAT he got so much done on the "to do" list. Poor guy...while he was out working on getting my salon all finished he had an accident with a screw driver, it tried to eat his finger! I get really queasy around blood and Jers blood is no exception...I really wasn't much help cleaning or fixing his boo boo (but I did get the band aid!
Anyway so we had friends Saturday night and it was GREAT. I made an Asian style dinner complete with homemade egg rolls, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, and cabbage salad YUM it was good! Chelsea and Jay had never played a Wii before so OF COURSE we had to show them. It was fun and I'm pretty sure they are hooked :)

"SUN"DAY: MORNING SICKNESS AND BASEBALL CAPS
I don't know if was the cabbage salad (which is something I read you shouldn't eat when you pregnant) or just plain old morning sickness...but the following morning was a very rough. This was the mother of morning sickness I was really upset because I couldn't go to church and Jer was being really helpful and didn't have time to get both he and Kohen ready.
Well after a few hours it passed like a bad storm..I felt great at around 11:30. Anyway we had been invited to go to the OSU beavers preseason game with some friends, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go for fear that my sickness would start back up, but Jer was REALLY excited so I just said a little prayer. It turned out to be a wonderful afternoon SO much sun, I even enjoyed watching the baseball (don't disown me dad :)

A RANDOM THOUGHT: EAVES DROPPING
I wanted to share a conversation that I overheard at the baseball game. It was between a Mother and Daughter, I found it very sad that this is the way people think. Let me set the scene for you, they were sitting next to me. The daughter was pregnant and very young.
Daughter: Al bought me Kenny Chesney tickets for my birthday, but I really don't want to go.
Mom: Why not, don't be ungrateful for things he gives you.
Daughter: I am grateful, its just I will be 8 months pregnant, looking like a whale and I wont be able to have any fun anyway because I cant drink!
..............................
Enough said the conversation went down hill from there filled with questions of how she was going to tan while pregnant and how fat she was going to look at a friends wedding.
So many questions popped into my head at once when I heard this girl..first was..
WHY? do people think they cant have fun with out drinking? I have fun everywhere I go and don't have a drop of alcohol in me! I guess what I'm getting at is that it makes me sad that this is the mentality this woman is going to give her child! And then we will have a whole new generation of people who think that that's the way to have "fun". If my nieces are reading this I want you to take something else from this conversation I over heard, when you are pregnant you are NOT FAT! I dislike when people think they are FAT, I loved every second of being pregnant with Kohen and felt beautiful because I was caring a special son of our father in heaven, I never feel closer to my heavenly father than when I am pregnant. Its such a beautiful thing...Anyway I'm blabbering...I guess my point is that this conversation made me realise that we need to teach the younger girls around us that 1. Alcohol does not =FUN! It = a whole MESS of other things and 2. Being pregnant is a blessing and not one that every woman gets to experience on this earth so be grateful that you get to be a mother!
