Jonas update

Jonas is TWO months old. The doctors told us that developmentally to go off his due date (Sept 2nd) SO...that would technically mean he is almost a month old. Jonas Weighs 9lbs 13oz. He is 21 inches long. He is just starting to make eye contact, but only stares for short periods of time. He can roll over..which is AMAZING!! He smiles every once and a while...but only smiles at Kohen. I'm not kidding, Kohen will be "talking" to him and all of a sudden a big grin will cross his face :) Its sweet. He has however smiled at me once...last night. He is a great eater...and OK sleeper. And LOVES to snuggle!

I love being a mommy of two. It is an adjustment, but I wouldn't change it for the world!!

Things I have done with two that I am proud of:

-I went shopping (by my self...with both the boys)

-I cleaned the house, everyone got baths (including me) AND I got my makeup and hair done!!

-Went for a walk, Kohen in the stroller and Jonas in the pack.

FALL!!!

I LOVE fall in Oregon. Although it is coming into the rainy season. It also brings a whole new cluster of beautiful colors. Fall vegetables are my favorite. Apple cider...apple pie....PUMPKIN pie! The fog, the crisp morning air. Having to wear slippers! No more flip flops! Its just such a fun change.
I woke up this morning thinking of Christmas, i cant wait! Fall gets me in the Christmas mood. In fact I usually start Christmas music around the beginning of November :)
What is your favorite thing about fall??

The Cabinet of Curiosities

I just finished reading a fabulouse book called: The Cabinet of Curiousities. By Douglas Preston and Lincoln Fairchild. It is a suspensful mystery, packed with twists and turns, a lot of action, "neck hair raising" scenes, and even history. I am not typically a "mystery" person, but this was a fantastic read!! I would love to loan you a copy, but I borrowed the one I read...it is definetly worth the trip to borders!! These authors have published alot of books similar to this noval and I cannot wait to get my hands on them!!

He rolled over...what else could have happened?

This morning I was feeding Jonas in my room when I heard Kohen waking up in his room. I put Jonas down on his back to check on Kohen and when I came back in cause I heard him fussing, he had rolled onto his stomach. What else could have happened?? I didn't have him propped up on anything that he could have slid over...He will be 2 months next week and already he thinks he needs to be a big boy!! (BTW he weighs 8lbs 10 oz)

Tiffany

I graduated in 2004, and walked at graduation with the only two people I still care to talk to from high school. My friend Reiley who recently got married to his soul mate! and the other is my friend Tiffany.
Have you ever read the book Anne of Green Gables? Well if you have you know that Anne had a best friend (whom she called her bosom friend) Diana Barry. I cant say that I have to many close girl friends, in fact I can honestly say that aside from my family I am not really myself around many people...But Tiffany (my bosom friend lol).
Today Tiffany had a "care package" delivered to me with all sorts of things that took me back to our high school days. Inside jokes and treats we used to snack on. Tiffany is getting married this May, in Arizona and I will be there to smile and congratulate her. Thank goodness for close friends and family who get us through rough times
Thanks Tiff for thinking of me and making my day!!
