As a little girl I can remember one of my favorite games was "playing house". I was always the mommy, I loved to pretend to do the cooking and cleaning and say "hi, honey how was your day?". I realised today that its still my favorite game to "play"... I got so much done today it was amazing I unpaked 2 boxes (dreadfully), cleaned the house, got laundry done, folded AND PUT AWAY, sang and danced with Kohen, made dinner, and we still had time to watch a movie and have family scripture...I feel on top of the world! Now if only I could get my 7 month old to sleep, than I really would feel like super mom.

Our weekend in Idaho
Our plane landed in Idaho Thursday night at 11:55PM. The drive to mom and dads that usually takes an hour and a half took us 3 hours, but it was alright it gave us time to catch up. Obviously we went right to bed when we got to mom and dad's. The next morning we all woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs :) I love my mom! Friday we really didn't do a heck of a lot except went to rent our snowboarding gear and drive around to look at the sights of Fairfeild Idaho. Its not a big town but the snow is SO beautiful and the mountains surround it which makes it even more unbelievably beautiful. Jeff and Jer played video games while mom, dad, Kohen, and I played a few card games and just talked. That's what I love about my parents, they are so easy going and love to just sit and talk. Well Friday night Dad made steak!!
It was so good. Saturday at about 10:15 we left for our big snowboard day (my mom skis). It is a 12 mile drive from my parents house to Soldier Mountain. The parking lot wasn't full yet which was nice and we found out that the bunny slope is free, because its basically a practice slope. It was an adventure, the bunny slope didn't have a lift instead they have a wire pulley that you hold onto BOARD STRAPPED ON, and you are supposed to ride this thing up to the top. it looked easy enough. Well we were in line to get on the pulley, Jeff grabbed on and fell instantly, Jer grabbed on and fell too...My mom got hold and (lalala) got up the bunny slope no problem. I watched a few people go up first so that I would impress my group and make it up....I didn't make it up for the first three tries. Eventually we all made it up. This slope is nothing like others Ive been on when you get off the pulley you have about two seconds to get your balance cause there is no flat ground to get ready on it goes right back down. After an hour or so of that we decided the pulley was silly and we should just go pay for our lift tickets and just take a few of the easier runs (ha!). We asked a few people what the easiest run would be since this was Jer, Jeff, and mine second time, and my mom hadn't skied in 20 yrs. I don't remember the name of the slope, but Jeff called it "good luck" cause that how it was it starts out with an OK slope and than GOOD LUCK!! My mom was doing amazing (lalala) after 20 yrs it was like riding a bike. Jer and Jeff were struggling a bit, they have trouble turning, but did OK for the most part. What ever I was doing was NOT snowboarding, more like snow plowing! About halfway down the hill everyone except Jer went ahead, I finally got mad enough that I took off the stupid board and went sledding down the hill on my board instead. It was really fun sledding, until I fell off the board and it went speeding down the hill off the run, across the parking lot into the brush! Needless to say I think I'm going to try Skiing. We had a rule before we went that no one would laugh at each other (A rule my mom made), I guess I was the exception to the rule, but I probably would have laughed to if it didn't hurt so bad every time i fell. So we get in the car to go home and Jeff is bummed cause a bunch of kids he goes to school with saw him fall a few times, Jer was sore and so was i and my mom says "I never fell once!" (lalala).
Sunday: My parents are in a small branch so when they hear that someones family is coming to visit, they apparently ask them to speak :) Jer and I spoke in my parents branch. It was a great meeting, the people there are wonderful and kind, and have a great missionary spirit. I spoke on Lehi's vision and Jer spoke on Plain and Precious truths. On our way through the airport my dad told us to look up at the welcome to Boise sign when you enter the airport that says "city of trees"...I don't know that I would ever classify ANY city in Idaho as the city of trees. Our plane left at 8:30 pm and it was one of the strangest plane rides I have ever had, our pilot was doing stunt driving or something.
When we landed we found out about Pres. Hinkley passing away. What a great man and prophet he was! He will be missed, I bet he is so happy to be with his sweetheart!
I was so happy to see Jeff, Mom, and Dad. Thank you for the weekend guys I love you and it doesn't get easier leaving you! By the way the coldest it got while we were there was -6, thats cold, but so different from Oregon cold.

My favorite
I have a few favorites, for those of you who know me well I can never have one favorite song, or one favorite color, or even one favorite flavor of ice cream... But I do have a favorite gift. Its my family, the Lord has blessed me with the best husband and baby boy ever! Every new thing Kohen does is my favorite.

Night Owls
It is 11:17 PM and my little man and I...well my little man, is awake and its not cause he wants to be its cause his toothers are hurting him. I hate to just pump him full of Tylenol, but I know it will help. Mean while here we are waiting for the medicine to kick in and for the pain to relax. We sing songs and snuggle. Finally he is at the "dozing" off stage, (the my eyes are heavy but I'm gonna fight it as long as I can stage). It usually helps at this point to do something completely uninteresting to him (such as typing). Well just an update on things going on in our house right now. I am working on a few UFOs as Danna puts it, my scrap booking, Lahia's baby shower invites which will be in late march early April, and organizing a product catalog. I'm really excited about this project...Jer has helped me develop a catalog of face/hair/and nail products (such as: Paul Mitchell, Redken, Biologe, Back To Basic, and Aquage, Hemp, OPI, Sparitual) and selling them to my family, friends and clients at the discounted price. Salons usually mark them up 30-50%. I am adding a small "gas fee". I feel like what is the point of giving everyone great new styles if they cant afford the product to style it. Well looks like my little man is out :) so thats it for me thank you BLOGSPOT for giving me something to do when the world is sleeping.

Marching one by one, hurra, hurra!
I love our new place and when I have completely unpacked I will get pictures up, but I have noticed lately there have been a few ants here and there. No big deal (i thought) just be sure to keep the sweets put away and closed up. Also make sure not to leave dirty dishes out...right? Now explain this to me...This morning I got up to go use the facilities only to find HUNDREDS of ants on my bathroom counter which makes NO SENSE!!! We put ant bait out a few days ago, you know the kind that they supposedly eat and take back to the nest and it poisons it after a few hours, it didn't work they don't even go into the bate thingys. Jer is calling the landlord today to see what the heck is going on. I asked the neighbor this morning if she is having ant problems and she said yes they are getting into her closed up foods as well!! UGH You know I hate spiders, but I loath ants they never come individually, they are gross, they make me feel dirty! I really cant stand it I dont even wanna clean the ants up it grosses me out i get all itchy just thinking about it!!!
