Towls, Tuxes and too much fun!

I love the ages the boys are at right now..So much personality and life is always new and exciting. Here jonas is sitting playing video games with Daddy.
The boys usually play hard with papa and have lots of fun but today for some reason Jonas is SO grumpy he didnt want to play with papa so it was hard to smile even though he was having fun doing the "airplane" with papa.

And here grumpy is telling papa "no"

Ok...so Jeff has prom this next weekend and he did not want a tux so I took him up to Portland to some consignment shops where they have some GREAT vintage. We found this little number and put it together. Dad is not a huge fan but Jeff and I LOVE it!

His date is wearing a 1920's style evening gown that is Champagne colored they will look GREAT together. I can wait for next weekend. It will be so fun to see their pictures!

I am going to Arizona next month for a good friends Baby shower and she wanted to give each guest a personalized Martini glass. She saw the painted by hand ones and wanted me to try it out. Well I just couldnt get the right look with the paint so I tried my hand at etching...I like how they turned out. What do you think???

Ok so this is not a story I wanted to tell everyone because of how ASHAMED I am but I needed to show my mom the picture so here goes: I was cooking dinner and Jonas was pushing at my legs. The boiling water spilt on him and burnt the top of his head, ear and shoulder. It all happend SO quickly well I was able to react fast and get him in the sink and under cold water. What you see on his arm is 4 or 5 days after it happened, he also has a "new skin" patch on their..they are AMAZING they go over the burn and prevent infection keep out water but are still breathable. His head and ear blisterd and looked so sad for a few days but he healed fast...alot faster then I have healed from burning my baby. I felt like the WORST mother ever. He forgave me and still loves me.

Not big on this picture but I wanted to show you all my new hobbie...Making hair accessories. I have alot more but I dont want to model them myself. I will try and post more pictures of some of my products soon. They are so fun to make and SO fun to wear.

I LOVE bath time. My boys are so cute wrapped in towels.
The Video below is me trying to get Kohen to do his dance. He likes to "shake his butt" lol I dunno where he came up with the concept but he makes us all laugh. He will NOT do it with the camera on because as you will see he gets distracted.

Back on track:

As life gets for all it has been busy around our home the last little while. Here is a few pictures of all our adventures.

My new DO. I couldnt get a really GOOD picture of it. I LoVe lOvE LoVe it!

I will try to have someone else take a picture and post it so you can see the AMAZING job my friend Whitney did (she has not gone to school yet and she is SO naturally talented).

For those of you who dont know we have moved into a bigger home. More people living here so we needed more space. The stairs are definetly an attraction. Kohen can be found at all hours of the day playing on the steps. You best beware on your way down the stairs for a glass of water at 3 a.m. as you are likely to step on toys.

Jonas is creative. He has developed a way to go down the stairs.
Feet first belly down and SLIDE.

This is how Jonas eats a hot dog, much like you would an olive.

Kohen plays hard and the poor kid hates naps. This is how he fell asleep a few weeks ago. By the washer and dryer face down in dirty clothes. :( YUCK!

Jer is very involved in scouting. He is the scout master for Silverton. He just recieved an award for some training he completed called woodbadge. I made a cake for him in celabration. A good friend of ours helped me, it is meant to look like the badge which is a log with a hatchet in it....I thought it was fun :)

My Jonas is SUCH a funny boy he is SO animated in all he does. He is very very mischevious and very busy. I posted a few of his "faces", this is his tired face.

What is a little boy with out a good puddle jumping...

What is a boy with out loving tractors and "macks"
(as we call them at our house thanks to Disney's Cars)

What is a boy with out a ride in a tractor..
(but make sure mom stays close just incase)

What is a boy without LOVING to throw rocks!

And what is a little boy without a good FORT built by his papa!
Kohen and Jonas LOVE their papa he is the world when we wake in the morning to the last person we say goodnight to. Life is nothing with out puddles and tractors and rocks and forts...but life would stop in its tracks if Papa wasnt there to help us live it up being a little boy!

This is Jonas' "oh WOW" face

We have a few activities that my siblings and I have passed on to our children..
This one is probably one of the more strange of them. Drawing with washable marker on Papa or Uncle Jeffy's back. Is a FAVORITE for Kohen and Jonas :) I must admit it...I still like it too.

This is Jonas' CHEESE face. One of his nick names is Ham and cheese...Wanna guess why?

We told Kohen to draw a dragon on his magnet erase bored (no idea what its really called)
and THIS is what he drew!! Do you see the dragon?

THE face...It is a silly face he makes lol I love it.

Christmas time (along time i know) I went to Jers work party with him.
This was my hair. It was fun.

Kohen fell a month or so ago and got a big BUMP on his upper lip.
Poor guy!

The Oregon Gardens has a miniture train set. We went last time Nana was here to visit.
The boys loved it, we are planning on going back when the weather is better.

An older picture but I needed to share. Kohen loved uncle Jeffy's football helmet...
OR as Kohen would say Uncle Jeffy's football game hat.
So that was a brief update with more to follow SOON.........

Long over due...

Sorry everyone I have been so lame at updating my blog. It a busy time of year for ALL... We have been busy with Christmas gifts, callings, football, growing babies, and lots and lots of family fun.
I will start with Christmas gifts:
We like to give homemade gifts and they usually take all year to make them all as we have a large family. I felt this year that instead of asking all the guys one thing an all he girls another we would try to be more personal, this ended up being a harder task then I thought. BUT I am happy to report I AM DONE!!

New Calling:
I am now the "Week day relief society meeting planner" (formerly known as Enrichment leader). I am nervous about this calling as I am not the best organizer in the world, I am very excited to rise to the challenge but nervous for sure. We just had our Christmas Program and I thought it went well, could have gone smoother...but I will get the hang of it. (pray for me :)

Football:

I am not a big sports watcher, but I always love watching family play. It is Jeff's senior year and it has been WONDERFUL to watch him play. They had a great season!! They made it o the STATE playoffs, the score was 14 to 7. (We lost) But pretty amazing to be second in football in the whole state (for 2A football)!! The above picture is Jeff carrying the ball (I don't remember how many yards he got on this play)He is #33

A pretty cool picture I think (not taken by me :)....He made the tackle in case you were wondering.
It is wonderful to have Jeff and Dad with us, and Mom not to far behind. My boys are loving their Papa. Now if we could only get the rest of our family close by life would be perfect.
Tomorrow is Jeremiah's birthday. My old man is 29. I love how wonderful he is to me and the father he is to our boys. I wont be to mushy and make you gag lol but...Life is pretty wonderful with my man :) Happy Birthday Jer!!!
